Just wanted to send out a quick update. The fires in the Cariboo region are still burning. Some of our friends have been evacuated for 8 days now and are trying to help at one of the relief centers. They are being told they will be evacuated most likely for at least a week more. Some of our other friends that were a little further from the fire have now received evacuation notices. There are over 17,000 people who have been evacuated. They are concerned now as the wind has picked up and is changing direction. Also there is lightning in the area. Please keeping praying for the people, the exhausted firefighters, the ranchers that are choosing to stay and protect their ranches and the livestock, some have been able to remove some of their livestock, but not all. Please pray for rain, no wind, and containment of the fires. Pray for mercy. Thank you so much.
