Hello,
I talked with Mike.
They are in Haiti and almost to the orphanage. Their flight between L.A. and Miami was delayed 1/2 hour and then they sat on the runway for 1 hour.
Their layover in Miami was only 1 hour and 20 mins. Somehow they made it running. They had quite a ways to go. They said a lot of people did not make the connection. Mike and the teams luggage did not make it. They waited in Port-au-Prince for the next flight into Haiti and received all but one piece. So hopefully the missing luggage catches up to them. In Haiti no one would bring it to them, they will have to go and get it. Mike thinks it is the one with our medical scrubs for the clinic and the shirts for our teachers among other things. Please pray that we receive it. The team stopped and visited one orphanage we have friends at in Port-au-Prince. It is an orphanage for handicap children. It is being used as a triage and medical clinic to help earthquake victims. When I talked to Mike today they were just leaving Nathan's and heading up to our orphanage. Thanks so much for keeping the prayers going.

Announcing: We have finally achieved official registered Non-Profit Charitable Status for our Canadian supporters. This means that all of your Canadian donations for 2010 will now receive a thank you and an official tax deductible receipt. It took us over one year to finally get this with the generous help from our hard working Canadian team, (and accountants and lawyers). Thank you so much for you patience with us on this matter. Our American status was achieved in 2008.
Hello,
The concert was a great success! We hope that all of you enjoyed the concert as much as we did. It was such a blessing! Today three of our containers
were loaded onto the ship bound for Gonaives Haiti. Mike and the team leave tomorrow for Haiti. The team is from Washington and Arizona this time.
Please pray for their safety and that they have wisdom in distributing the items from the container. We do have a plan in place, but want to be hearing from God. Also please pray that the containers arrive on time, as the ship has left later than they thought. Mike needs to be there to receive the containers and the team that is going wants to help distribute them. Prayers are our most powerful weapon, they work.
Thanks and many blessings,
Chris

We are very sorry today to share the news that Maurice has passed away. They do not know the cause of death, which is very common in Haiti.
He was a godly man. He helped move the kingdom forward in many ways.
When I first heard the news from Nathan I misunderstood him and thought it was the driver we use. Yesterday I found out that it was Maurice our
tech at the medical clinic. He lives right next door to the orphanage. He is an elder at our church. He worked for the health department. He leaves behind
a very Godly wife who is head of the women at church. He also leaves 2 older teenage daughters, whom Mike had the privilege of baptizing last year.
We will miss him very much. Please pray for his family.
Thank you
Chris

Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our second container is on its way!
Thanks to all who helped!
What a blessing! The pallets of food have been picked up and we will be filling up the third container this week.
Today our ads for the Brian Doerksen
concert started on Praise 106.5. Also
posters are being put up in many places in Whatcom County and the lower B.C. area. We are amazed at
all the combined efforts. We have had
help from friends all over the US and Canada. We have had help from friends as far away as Norway. What a blessing for the Haitian people.

Hello
This is a photo of our container at Okanagan Gleaners in B.C. being loaded on Friday. It has 160 drums of dehydrated soup mix. Each drum holds 70 bags of soup mix. Each bag makes 100 servings of soup. So this container holds 1120,000 servings of soup. It is now on its way to the shipping company in Florida where it will wait for our other containers to catch up before going to Haiti.
The container that is in the Fairway shopping center which is full of food and medical supplies will be picked up tomorrow morning and head for Florida also. We have a third container that will be dropped off in the Fairway shopping center Monday after the other one has been picked up. This container will be mostly for building materials but will also hold food. We have bought a pallet each of rice, beans, vegetable oil and spaghetti noodles. These items plus other donated items will be in with the building materials. This container will be accepting donations through next Friday. It will be organized over the weekend and will leave the following Monday for Florida. The plan is for Mike and the team to meet the containers on the docks in Haiti.
Thanks so much to all of you that have come along side of us to help in the Haiti relief effort.
Please remember to join us at the Brian Doerksen concert and help pay for the shipping of these containers.
Blessings Chris

Here is the information on the concert. We are so blessed to have Brian and his band help. We hope all of you will join us. The date is February 21st. The time is 7:00 PM.
We will be asking for $10 at the door and we will be taking an offering during the concert. Usually Brian and his band charge $20 for a concert, but they are performing free of charge to help us with the relief efforts
for Haiti. Another exciting event at the concert will be a raffle for a custom guitar made by Knappster guitar. We are so excited for this evening, hope to see you there.
