Hello,

We hope this finds you well. We are looking
forward to seeing you at our fundraiser. Both
Mike and I (Chris) will be present. It has been
over 5 years since I have been able to attend
our US fundraiser, as I have been "holding down
the fort" so to speak in Haiti. We are excited to
see you and to be able to share an update with
you and some stories. We will be having a live
auction, dessert dash and I have some Haitian
made goods I will be selling to help our Haitian
friends. We are excited to be able to see everyone.

I am including a photo of our invitation, so that
you have the information for the evening.

Blessings,
Chris

Clavinson post op!

Hello,

We wanted to thank you for your prayers for Clavinson. The surgery on his arm went well. The surgeon believes his arm will fully recover. Thanks to you, half of the costs to cover his surgery have also been covered. We along with Clavinson are very appreciative.  Please continue to pray for his full recovery. I'll post a photo of him on the blog.

We would also appreciate prayers for tonight and tomorrow morning. Cookshill Community Church is holding a fundraiser tonight that will benefit their church preschool and New Generation Ministries. They are also giving Mike the privilege of preaching in their church for the second time this spring, tomorrow morning during church. We would greatly appreciate prayers for the fundraiser tonight both for their church and our ministry and for Mike who will be speaking tonight at the fundraiser and again tomorrow  morning.

Blessings,
Chris

Clavinson and his broken arm before surgery.

Dear Prayer Partners;  As most of you well know, raising children can sometimes be more like a roller-coaster ride, than a Sunday afternoon walk in the park. But raising an orphanage of 67 Haitian children, can sometimes be more than we can handle on our own. We love every one of these kids like our own, and would do everything possible for them. But every once-in-a-while, we need your help. And this is one of those times.

One of our boys, (Clavinson, age 14) was injured playing soccer, and was rushed to the local Hospital. He was then referred  to a Port-Au-Prince Hospital for surgery on a badly broken hand. He has been stabilized and resting in preparation for the surgery tomorrow morning.

Would you please join with us in praying for Clavinson, and his full recovery. Would you also please consider helping us with the cost of this surgery, and the related expenses involved. We are estimating about $3,000 USD at this time.

Blessings,
Mike
