Schnayder

I would like to share a couple of testimonies with you tonight. The first is about one of our teachers from our school in Pass Rein. His name is Schnayder. He is twenty-three years old and he teaches the 4th grade class. He is also a leader in the church.

Schnayder is a teacher, but he also spends time praying with students who are affected by satan and demons. He shares that in the past, the village was churchless and without a school, there was only witchcraft and voodoo. In the past, the children used to drink alcohol and smoke, but now they are going to school and church. They learn how to worship God and seek his presence. The Good Shepherd church and school have brought much transformation to the village. He shares that he is not only a teacher, and intercessor, he also helps guide them by teaching God's ways. The school also teaches them to know  and rely on God. They help the students to know their success is not only dependent on their schooling, but on their faith in God and obedience to their family's principles.

He says the village is so thankful for the jobs the school creates for teachers and cooks who did not have  work before. It has changed the village deeply.

The second testimony is from Bathelmy, who is sixty-three. He has six grown children. Twenty- two days ago he gave his life to Jesus in our Marose church. He had been serving as an assistant to a witch doctor since he was eighteen years old.

In his words he shares, that he slowly realized that the ones that serve satan are more vulnerable than the Christians in accidents and attacks. He noticed that non-Christians die easier than the Christians. He shared that he wanted to express his gratefulness toward God for the life that he still has. He says that he belongs to Jesus and Jesus is his, so satan has lost him forever. He will no longer serve him.

Bathelmy says that he is proud to be among the Christian believers who are clean people and he sleeps much better than before. He says he doesn't pray good, but God sends His angel to watch over him. He attends church every Sunday and goes to Bible study.

He makes his living as a gardener, and has good health. One of his sons believes in Jesus, but he asks us to pray for his wife and other children to accept Christ into their hearts. He says that he loves Jesus and is proud of Him.

Thank you so much for your prayers for the people of Haiti, we so appreciate them. You are changing lives and families which will change the county of Haiti.

Blessings,
Chris
